Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar Matriculaltion Higher Secondary School

Philanthropic minded Nadars of Chennai, with the main objective to establish educational institutes, formed the CHENNAI VAZH NADARGAL SANGAM in the year 1996. With the liberal contribution of Sri. A.N. Srinivasaga Nadar and his brothers Sri. A.N. Ramasamy Nadar and Sri. A.N. Govindasamy Nadar a vast area of 41 acres of land was acquired in the Chennai, Nellore Trunk Road, just 16 km from Chennai.

For the contribution made by Sri. A.N. Srinivasaga Nadar & Brothers, the First Institution after their beloved father Sri. T.V.A. Nallalaghu Nadar, accordingly SRI NALLALAGHU NADAR POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE was started in December 1983 as per G.O. Ms. No.2163 EST Dated 15.11.1983 of the Government of Tamilnadu as a self - financing instituition.

On 09.12.1983, the KAMARAJ EDUCATION & RESEARCH FOUNDATION was formed by the Chennai Vazh Nadargal Sangam to manage Sri Nallalaghu Nadar Polytechnic College and other educational instituition under the able guidance of its trustees.

DR. SIVANTHI ADITANAR MATRICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL was started on 10th June 2002. Kamaraj Education and Research foundation's Secretary and Treasurer, Mr. A.N. Srinivasaga Nadar opened this instituition. In the first year, LKG to V std students were admitted and the strength was 196. Dr.B. Sivanthi Aditan, (Late) President donated First floor fully. Now the school has a strength of 1041 students with classes from LKG to XII. We have a modernistic library, smart class, maths lab, computer lab and well furnished science laboratories.
